A sixty hour broker’s pre-license course is required after you meet the experience requirements as a licensed sales agent before you may take the state practical examination to obtain a broker’s license

Broker Pre-License Course
When you are ready and have the experience to move up to create your own brokerage you must begin with this broker's pre-license course.
The 60 hour Broker Pre-license course shall include classroom lectures, student participation, exercises inside and outside the classroom and graded homework assignments. The course shall cover all the basics of the real estate business such as real estate sales and brokerage, appraisal, property management, financing, subdivision and development, community association management, counseling, home inspection and education, real estate math, Georgia specific real estate laws and the transactional basis of the real estate sales industry. Also included are brokerage ethics, leadership, management, organization and business policies as well as marketing strategies and market positions.
This course also qualifies licensees for 60 hours of continuing education credit during the license renewal period.
All classes shall be broken into one and one half hour segments including a fifteen minute break. All classes are taught to mastery and a school final examination must be passed for course credit.
